About the House
No one is quite sure when the House first opened its doors. Some say it began as a single shelf in a lamplit study, where old things went to wait for the right person.
The House keeps what others overlook: books whose margins hold a stranger’s thoughts, records pressed on nights no one remembers, small objects that have passed through more hands than they will admit. None were made by the hundred, and none stay long. Each waits until someone describes a person it was meant for, and then it leaves, sealed in black under amber wax.
We do not say where our pieces come from. That is the House’s to keep.

How do you choose the piece?
You entrust the House, and the House chooses. We read your answers closely and choose one piece we believe they will keep, within the gesture you chose. Always one of a kind. No proposals, no approvals: you trust the House’s eye.
Do I need their address?
No. Only their name and an email or mobile number. They add their own address when they accept, so it stays a surprise.
Is every gesture paid upfront?
A Small Kindness, or a Thoughtful, Generous, or Grand Gesture, is settled when you send the Token. For a Private Commission, we will write to you privately first.
How long does it take?
We choose within [X] days. Once they accept, it ships within [X] days.
What if they wish to return it, or already own it?

Can I send anonymously, or choose the date?
